Thailand’s youth rise up: Protest motion calls for monarchy reform

Thailand’s royal household are formally revered and guarded by harsh legal guidelines, which may land you in jail for a few years.

However over the previous 5 months a student-led protest motion has began demanding reform of the monarchy, and an finish to navy coups. Thailand has had 20 in trendy occasions.

The protesters need King Vajiralongkorn’s energy and spending to be restricted, although many Thais stay strongly loyal to him and object to the reform marketing campaign.
