The prosecution additionally alleges that Mr Steinmetz, 64, and two co-defendants, dedicated forgery by creating shell constructions to cover the bribes. The trial is happening in Switzerland as a result of Mr Steinmetz lived in Geneva till 2016, and ran companies there.
