Migrating flamingos flip Mumbai lakes into ‘sea of pink’


Hundreds of flamingo birds migrate to lakes and wetlands of western India to seek out meals and higher nesting grounds.

The annual spectacle in Navi Mumbai metropolis has drawn folks from close by cities and cities. Hen watchers say that the rising variety of flamingos within the metropolis is an effective signal.

However they add that authorities must do extra to make sure that the annual migration sample shouldn’t be disturbed due to development exercise within the space.
