In 1980 the Iraqi strongman, Saddam Hussein, tried to launch his nation into the world of film making.
He spent thousands and thousands of {dollars} on an epic film referred to as “Conflict of Loyalties”, filmed nearly solely on location in Iraq, and starring a few of Britain’s main actors, together with Oliver Reed.
However quickly after taking pictures of the movie started, conflict erupted between Iraq and neighbouring Iran.
The movie’s Iraqi-born British producer Lateif Jorephani remembers what occurred subsequent.
