‘How do I introduce my companion to my dad and mom?’ That’s the query Jonah Batambuze all the time will get from Asians who contact him.

So he has began working workshops to assist {couples} put together for difficult introductions.

He’s the founding father of Blindian Mission, an internet platform celebrating black and Asian relationships. He says anti-black racism inside the South Asian group could be the most important problem for {couples}.

However latest occasions in the USA – Black Lives Matter protests and the election of Kamala Harris as US vice-president – are beginning to shift attitudes within the South Asian group.
